As the mother of two little girls (not that little now actually!) I know that this special moment will pass all too quickly. So I am here to ensure that your whole experience of this magical time is complete.
Your little one will be posed safely and gently, with the utmost love and care in several cute setups while they sleep. We are also able to capture some stunning family photographs during your shoot, including some with your little one’s siblings.
Together we will create a collection of images that your family will be able to treasure for years to come.

Newborn Baby Photographer in Huntingdon
Newborn photoshoots are best captured in the first 14 days of your new baby’s life (but totally doable up to around 6 weeks if you are late to the party).
If you little one has gone past this age, then don’t worry, we can arrange something for older babies too. I offer milestone portraits for babies that are able to sit up unaided but I am happy to work with little ones of any age.
When should you book your newborn photoshoot?
To ensure you can get booked in during this small timeframe, most of my clients book in after their second scan at around 20 weeks.
As a parent myself, I understand that at that stage, you may have doubts about booking so early because you just don’t know when your baby will arrive. Let me reassure you that there is no risk to your session. If they are early or late (or maybe in that magic 4% that arrive on time?!) we will simply adjust your booking accordingly.
There are no additional fees for this, as I totally understand that all babies work to their own schedule.
Your package details
- This process is best completed whilst your baby is under two weeks old – but it is possible for “newborn style” photos up to around 4 weeks. Maybe even 6 weeks if they are still sleepy.
- These baby photoshoots can take around 3 hours to complete – sometimes a little more and sometimes a little less. It just depends on how baby sleeps throughout the shoot.
- You are encouraged to have some beautiful family and sibling photos too – its important for you all to be in the picture with them.
- Your baby’s photoshoot will be totally led by them, and I will carefully assess their needs throughout. Your baby’s safety and comfort will be my number one priority throughout the process.
- We will chat before your shoot to discuss your preferences in colour and styling.
- The studio is located in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, just off the A1 between Peterborough and Huntingdon, also convenient for those living in the St Neots, Stamford and Oundle areas.
- It is neccessary to pre book your newborn shoot while you are still pregnant due to high demand. I take on a fixed number of due dates per month to ensure I can fit them in within those precious first few days and weeks. Occasionally, we do have spaces open up at the last minute, so do get in touch. We would love to fit you in if we can.
- I am fully trained and insured – I assure you that your baby is in great hands with me.
